I finally got out today on Pymatuning a week after chemo. I was feeling good, no nausea, no pain. I went with my Dad and my friends 10 year old son. Just south of the Duck N Drake and just north of Bay Shore Campground, we went over a hump and then 14’ of water. As the water deepened, he got the bite. It was less than 30”, but the look on his face was amazing! He caught it on a perch super shad rap. I’m convinced we now have a lifelong Musky Hunter! Back to CLE for treatment in the morning. What a great diversion from real life!
I am a cancer survivor and I think it’s absolutely fantastic that your still fighting and getting out to do what you love. It’s easy to sit around feeling sorry for yourself but the fighters are the ones that beat it. Congratulations on introducing someone new to this crazy sport.
